Born in Berkeley, CA, I moved as a child to Albuquerque, NM, where I spent most of my life growing up. Surrounded by coyotes and cactus, my imagination ran rampant, and from an early age I knew that my dream occupation was an inventor. I wanted to use technical knowledge to take part in designing products that would tackle some of the most pressing issues in society. Now a little older, I still have that dream.
As a fourth year Mechanical Engineering student at UT Austin, focusing on robotics and computer science, I’m passionate about using programming knowledge with my engineering education and problem solving skills to make impacts in the world. I’ve been fortunate enough to gain experience for this through seperate vehicle software and manufacturing engineering internships at Tesla, as well as a series of R&D internships at Sandia National Laboratories. I continue to do so with my work in haptic robotics at the Human Enabled Robotics (HERO) Laboratory at UT, and my research in machine learning for manufacturing optimization at UT’s Advanced Manufacturing Center. Additionally, I’ve enriched my skillset with several personal projects.
Currently I’m seeking a full time offer after my graduation in May, 2023, where I can combine my diverse background and accomplish meaningful work.
In my free time I enjoy soccer, volunteering, adventuring with friends, and baking.
